Best Thai food in Ft. Walton Beach!***Update*** 3/31/2017New owners! Was super worried, but for no reason. Place is just as fantastic, and honestly maybe even better. Amazing food, pretty plating and great portions. Staff is always friendly, service quick and thorough. We drive an hour each way to come here and have for years...this is the best Thai between Seaside and Pensacola. Period.

I stopped in for some pad Thai which I haven’t had in a long time. The lady at the register was super welcoming and friendly. The food was even better and all and all it was a great experience as I haven’t had Thai in so long. 10/10 recommend!

The chef knows her business! Some of the best Thai food I’ve had, and a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to coming back soon.

The owner is so kind she got me exactly what I wanted, even made sure what veggies I may have wanted in my vegetable green curry. The fried wontons were as fresh as could be! I love supporting a local business but on top of that she happened to tell me her mother taught her to cook "no book" she said which made me giggle a little, but it warms my heart knowing that maybe I can help support an ongoing tradition. It seemed to bring her joy when telling me about her mother teaching her to cook as did I.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. I've been coming her for 2 years and I always feel at home. I never leave hungry because the portions are a fair size. Super quick service and I definitely recommend a visit to Lotus Thai.

This is some of the best Thai food I have ever encountered. Magnificent! The kitchen looks spotless. The chef was clean and friendly. The beautiful lady running things is the kindest, most gracious host. I feel blessed having dined with them. 10/10

I really enjoyed the "Lotus Omlette" for dinner! Wasn't sure what to expect but I discovered it was wonderful. A filling meal all by itself.

Best Thai around! By far...there are new owners and we were worried our favorite place was gonna go downhill, but nope it is fantastic! Friendly unobtrusive service and a great menu with beautiful presentation.Worth the drive everytime!!!!

Amazing Thai beef salad with 100% fresh vegetables that appear to just have been picked from the garden. Large portions too. Thank you for your friendly service. She gets to know you by name.

We were passing this restaurant and thought we would try them for an evening meal, and we are very glad we did. The restaurant is a family business all from Thailand. I believe they have toned down the spice level to cater for the American palette but the flavor of the food is still excellent. All the ingredients are fresh the sauces are light and the meat cooked to just the right level. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I heard nice things about this place so I finally went to check it out. It was about 2pm on weekday when I got there and there were two other people eating beside me. The owner I presume, really nice lady started to show me food and telling me what she will prepare fresh even though I told her she shouldn't bother. I got several plates of different things to try out and liked most of them even though some of them were too spicy for me. Owner even made a fresh rice and when I was leaving packed it all for me which was unexpected and nice. I really enjoyed the food and experience and will be back for sure.

Just had amazing meal at Lotus Thai. Cucumber Salad, Satay, Pad Thai, Beef Thai Salad — we cleaned our plates. Service was friendly and atmosphere was relaxing.

Excellent food! I had the Cashew Chicken, and my granddaughter had the Pad Thai - we also had Spring Rolls & Fried Wontons for appetizers. The waiter was very professional and on top of his job - awesome gentleman! Although I ordered my entrée as medium spicy, it wasn't spicy at all. But it was still excellent food. I think in the past they've had issues with customers ordering whatever level of spicy, and not really understanding what "Thai spicy" is - then the customer finds their mouth on fire, and can't eat it. So, the restaurant toned it down quite a bit, and better to spice it up more on request rather than toss the whole plate and take the loss. But like a I said, great meal at a decent price. And if it's not spicy enough, speak up!

Our family loves this family owned restaurant! The people are so humble and nice! The servings are large, and the food is delicious! Reasonable prices too!

Amazing food and staff. Tonight they made a special dish for my pregnant girlfriend. Ive had many dishes over the past 8 years or so and every single dish has been PERFECT. I HIGHLY recommend eating here!

Very nice restaurant. Staff is very friendly and food was awesome. My favorite is the fresh rolls. We went for dinner and ordered pad thai. They gave us a complimentary appetizer (spring rolls). Our service was a young man and very attentive. I asked him at check out how old he was he said "14". He said it was a family run business. But, I got better service from this young man that I've received from adults at other restaurants. It's not expensive. Pad thai was only $9.95!!

It is a wonderfully run family business. They make it a very personal experience. I dont feel like just a customer, I feel like a valued guest. They are always happy to see us. We've always been greeted with a smile. I can honestly say that the food is the best I have ever had, the portions are very generous and filled with flavor. My fav is Thai beef salad Thai hot!!!! We drive over 40 miles to eat here. I highly recommend this place.....

I went it for the lunch buffet and everything I tried was delicious! Great staff and extra sweet tea! 10/10 will be returning!
